Mono County Child Care Council (MCCCC) was established in 1997 as the Local Planning Council for Mono County, as mandated by the State of California. The purpose of such councils is to meet and provide a forum to identify the priorities of local child care and the development of policies to meet the needs identified within those priorities.
The Council is involved in all child care needs concerning children aged birth – high school. We strive to:
- Promote quality child care for children of all ages.
- Advocate for children, families and care givers, and their needs.
- Educate by collaborating with other agencies to get relevant, quality trainings to our county’s parents and child care providers.
- Appreciate and Support child care providers, families and care givers who have dedicated their lives to helping improve the quality of children’s lives.
Through active collaboration, the Mono County Child Care Council will assess, promote, advocate, educate, support, and plan for county-wide access to quality child care.
